Pay Dates for Summer Faculty

Summer courses taught in 5 or 10 weeks should offer 37.5 contact hours or the equivalent for online and hybrid courses for 3 credit hour courses.

Timeline for Planning

October 3, 2025Associate Deans of each College receive planning materials for Summer 2026.
October 9, 2025Summer Planning Budget and past summer enrollments sent to departments. Departments do not return anything at this time but use this information to guide your planning.
October 13, 2025Banner opens for summer course entry. Reminder: The summer schedule of courses will be created by rolling the schedule from the previous summer.
December 1, 2025Banner closes for summer course entry.
December 11, 2025Summer schedule viewable to students on the web.
January 7, 2026Summer School will send departments summer schedules that ask for salaries to be assigned.
February 4, 2026Deadline for departments to enter summer salaries.
March 2, 2026Final summer schedules go to Chairs for approval.
March 30, 2026Registration for Summer 2026 begins.
April 13, 2026Review enrollment to look for low and high enrolled courses
Week of April 13-17, 2026Faculty salary confirmation letters are sent to instructors via email.
May 1, 2026Last date for changes for first and extended term.
June 1, 2026Last date for changes for second term.
